Legalisation requirements for Belize

Document for use in Belize does not usually need to be legalised if they have been certified by a UK notary public (s.18(e) of the Belizean Evidence Act 2000 (as amended)).

If further consular attestation is required for documents originated in Belize that needs to be further legalised by another foreign Embassy in the UK (e.g. UAE Embassy), then the High Commission of Belize provides attestation of documents original from Belize and which have been attested by their local Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
