Legalisation requirements for Congo (Democratic Republic of)
Document for use in the Democratic Republic of Congo first needs to be legalised by way of FCDO Apostille and then submitted to the Consulate of the Democratic Republic of Congo for further attestation.
FEES
The consular fee is £150 per document.
PROCESSING TIME
The consular processing time is likely to be 1-2 weeks.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Documents must be accompanied by a French translation and the translation must be bundled to the original English document.
A photocopy of the Apostilled document, copy of the Applicant’s passport and recent proof of residential address (if the document is a Power of Attorney signed by more than one individual, it is required for each signatory) and consulate application form duly completed and signed by the Applicant(s) is required upon submission to the Consulate.
The DRC Consulate online application form is to be completed by the Agents after an appointment confirmation is obtained from the Consulate.
