Legalisation requirements for Sudan (South)

Document for use in Sudan (South) first needs to be legalised by way of FCDO Apostille and then submitted to the Consulate of the Republic of South Sudan for further attestation.

FEES

The consular fee is £20 per private document, including educational certificates, and £65 per commercial document.

PROCESSING TIME

The consular processing time is likely to be 3-4 working days.

IMPORTANT NOTES

A photocopy of the document is required upon submission to the Consulate.

The Consulate of South Sudan in London also has jurisdiction over documents issued in the Republic of Ireland. These documents must be first legalised by the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs before submitting to the consulate in London.

Any other foreign documents are not accepted.

For the legalisation of copies of academic documents, the originals are required on submission and are returned along with the legalised certified copy document.
