Legalisation requirements for Tanzania

Document for use in Tanzania first needs to be legalised by way of FCDO Apostille and then submitted to the Consulate of Tanzania for further attestation.

FEES

The consular fee is £26 per document.

PROCESSING TIME

The consular processing time is likely to be 5 working days.

IMPORTANT NOTES

A photocopy of the document is required upon submission to the Consulate.

A cover letter from the Agent is required for submission along with the documentation requiring legalisation.

The document holder’s passport copy is also required.

Foreign documents are not accepted, except documents issued in the Republic of Ireland which is part of the jurisdiction of the Tanzanian Consulate in London.
