Legalisation requirements for Zimbabwe
Documents for use in Zimbabwe do not usually need to be legalised if they are signed/authenticated by a UK notary public (r. 3 of the Zimbabwean High Court (Authentication of Documents) Rules 1971).
However, UK educational documents may require further attestation by the Zimbabwe High Commission before submitting to the local authorities in Zimbabwe.
Please confirm the requirements with the local requesting party in Zimbabwe to avoid rejection.
FEES
The High Commission fee is £35 per educational document.
PROCESSING TIME
The High Commission processing time is likely to be 2 working days.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Educational documents need to be first certified by a UK Notary Public and Apostilled by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) before submitting to the Zimbabwe High Commission for further attestation.
